Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. She debuted on the big screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 in which she won the British Academy Television Award was presented to her for Best Actress. She speaks fluently French, German English, and Romanian. Her father, a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's top drama schools, is also a theatre teacher. The award was presented to her as an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000 at the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. In 2008, she was honoured as a European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. The actress starred as an actress from Romania in Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 two days (four months three weeks and two days) that was awarded with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film where she starred. In 2008, she played Yasim anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in the Romanian drama Boogie along with Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She appeared as Irma on Fury 2014, in which she played the role of a German named aunt to Emma.
