Actor and country-pop singer and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the cast of One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The show showcased her first albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015 also made it to into the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, when she was still just a teens. She was born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. Kramer was a guest on episodes in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to portray Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) and then was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011, she premiered the modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Let Go. In 2012, it was released as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. This song landed in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart, which is in the Top Five. She continued to act in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer launched her second studio album, Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. Thanks to The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country album chart, and tenth on the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing in fourth place.
