Linda Edna's parents are businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). Her parents were born at Redwood City in California. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descendance. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out of four siblings. Lily James is a stage name for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress who was born on April 5, 1989. Her professional career started in 2010, with the British TV series Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella (2015) became her first film following the time she played Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey which was a period drama. James then played Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV version of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018 and The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical series on television based upon the life of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) was nominated as a Golden Globe Award winner and an Primetime Emmy Award.
