
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street and 'Closing Bell'. Although she's from Ohio but she didn't have a keen interest in the world of markets or currency during her time in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It was there that she garnered her first experience working in business news. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did a 4-month job with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the United States and began her work in New York at Bloomberg. She became a television anchor eventually. CNBC brought her on in December 2013 to be an anchor. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange as well as 'Power Lunch', and then landed the job on 'Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. Her main area of focus since her joining CNBC has been global news for consumers.
